By Nabaraj Kattel, Biratnagar, May 9: Yet another case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Triyuga Municipality-3 of Udayapur, taking the tally to 101.
A 43-year old female tested positive in PCR test done at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar, informed Dr Sangita Mishra, Medical Superintendent of Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar.
The concerned Udayapur District Public Health Office has been identifying if any of her family members had been infected from the virus, said Dr Mishra.
Mohan Subedi, Chief of District Public Health office, Udayapur said that they were finding out the details of the COVID-19 patient.
"Preparations to keep the patient and her family in isolation have completed," he added.
With this, number of COVID-19 patients in State 1 has reached 35 out of which, 32 patients are from Udayapur itself.
However, 14 patients of Udayapur have recovered from the virus.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) had confirmed three COVID-19 positive cases earlier today.
