By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 16: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed eight COVID-19 related deaths.
"Eight persons, four females and four males, succumbed to the virus infection in the past 24 hours," revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.
Four males, one each from Sunsari, Saptari, Kavrepalanchowk and Kaski districts, aged 70, 35, 41 and 70 respectively succumbed to the deadly virus infection in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, of four females who died in the past 24 hours due to COVID-19, one aged 46 was from Bara, the other aged 55 was from Kavreplanchowk while remaining two aged 71 and 74 were from Kathmandu.
All these eight were infected with the novel coronavirus and passed away while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 371 and the death rate stands at 0.65 per cent.
