By Homraj Ranabhat, Kawasoti, May 14: The 49-year old COVID-19 patient of Devchuli Municipality-12, East Nawalparasi, had returned to Nepal from India two days ago.
He had entered Nepal on May 12 from Kolkata, India via Raxaul border.
According to District Health Office, Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East), the COVID-19 infected person had reached till Bharatpur from Raxaul on a truck carrying essential goods.
On May 12, he had reached Central Bus Terminal, Bharatpur at 10:30 PM.
He walked from the bus terminal to Bharatpur-based Corona Special Hospital and got himself admitted there. The health office therefore informed that he had not come in direct contact with anyone. No other passengers were there in the truck he came, except for the driver.
His health condition is normal and he is receiving treatment at the isolation ward of the hospital.
