Kathmandu, June 2 : Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has so far made three chartered flights to Hong Kong on Monday night. A total of 582 passengers returned Hong Kong through two narrow body and one wide-body aircrafts of NAC.
Of them, some are Hong Kong citizens and most of them are Nepali people residing there. The three aircrafts made flights in the margin of one hour, according to the NAC. NAC Spokesperson Archana Khadka said that most of the non-resident Nepalis and Hong Kong nationals, who got stuck due to lockdown, have returned Hong Kong.
The NAC’s wide body aircraft had made chartered flights towards Sidney and Brisbane of Australia, the longest destination for the first time in its history, during lockdown. The NAC is to make chartered flight towards Canberra of Australia for third time on June 8.
Spokesperson Khadka added that NAC has scheduled to make chartered flights towards Hong Kong on June 3, 4 and 5.
