By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 11: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed four COVID-19 related deaths today, taking the death toll to 83.
Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry, during the daily press briefing today said that four persons of Dhanusa, Kavrepalanchowk and Sindhupalchowk had succumbed to COVID-19.
A 60-year-old male of Dhanusa, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died on August 10 while receiving treatment at Janakpur Provincial Hospital.
Likewise, a 50-year-old male patient of COVID-19 from Mithila Bihari Municipality-5 died on August 9 while receiving treatment at Janakpur Cancer Hospital.
A 50-year-old female of Panchkhal, Kavrepalanchowk, succumbed to the virus infection while undergoing treatment at Kist Medical College, Lalitpur.
Also, a 64-year-old male of Sindhupalchowk, who had been infected with the virus, breathed his last on August 6 at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center, TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
