80 COVID-19 cases confirmed today alone
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 18: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 18 more COVID-19 cases today, taking the total infections in the country to 375.
12 men of Narainapur, Banke, two men of Dhanusha and one man each from Halesi of Khotang, Aathbise-1 of Dailekh, Sunsari, and Jhapa tested positive for the virus in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, informed the ministry by issuing a press statement.
The PCR tests were done at National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), Kathmandu, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj and Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar.
Health condition of all patients is normal and they're in contact with health workers, the ministry said.
