By Netra Shahi, Jumla, June 5: A man placed in quarantine set up at Dhuska Secondary School, Chandannath Municipality-8 died on Friday, the police said.
"We received information about this death today," informed Lal Bahadur Dhami, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jumla District Police Office.
According to Dhami, the deceased had entered the village on Thursday.
The police has already reached the quarantine while preparations are underway to collect swab sample of the deceased for Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
"A team of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences will arrive soon to collect swab sample," said DSP Dhami.
Likewise, Bhupendra Thapa, Chief District Officer said that the deceased was a local of Chandannath-8. "We've been told that the deceased was staying in Bardiya and he was an asthmatic patient."
