Kathmandu records 45 new cases of COVID-19

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 30: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 45 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu valley today.

In 6,304 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests performed in the last 24 hours, as many as 45 persons were found with the virus infection in the valley itself, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

Of the 45 newly identified COVID-19 patients, 41 are from Kathmandu valley and two each are from Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, 274 new cases were confirmed across the nation on Thursday, taking the tally to 19,547 including 14,248 cases of recovery and 52 death cases.
