By Muna Hamal, Surkhet, June 14: As many as 52 people in Karnali State have tested positive for COVID-19 today, taking the case load of Karnali State alone to 967.
According to the Health Service Division under Ministry of Social Development, 37 people of Dailekh and 15 of Surkhet were detected with the virus infection.
Their PCR tests were conducted in Surkhet and Jumla.
As of now, Dailekh has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Karnali State.
According to the Health Service Division, 539 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Dailekh until now, 212 in Surkhet, 100 in Salyan, 28 in Kalikot, 24 in Jumla, eight in Jajarkot, two in Mugu and one each in Humla and Jumla.
Likewise, three COVID-19 patients have recovered from the virus infection in Karnali State on Sunday. With this, the number of recovery in the State has reached 94 while three have lost their lives to COVID-19.
