Surkhet, May 31 : The number of people infected with coronavirus has reached 123 in Karnali State. With the latest updates- 33 on Saturday and 18 this morning, the total caseload reached 123.
Chief of Public Health Section at Ministry of Social Development in the State, Nawaraj Kandel, shared this information. The infected persons are from Surkhet, Salyan, Dailekh and Bajura districts.
Similarly, Nanda Bahadur Rokaya, personal secretary of the Social Development Minister, Dal Rawal, said an emergency meeting was being held at the Ministry on how further steps could be taken for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 with the recent spike in the infection rate.
