Surkhet, June 27 : Twenty-six more new cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in Karnali state. With the new cases confirmed on Friday, the total number of infected has reached 1,433 in Karnali.
Of the new cases, 12 are from Surkhet, five from Dailekh, three from Salyan, two from Jajarkot and one from Mugu, according to the Karnali Social Development Ministry, Health Service Division.
The tests were confirmed at the Karnali state hospital and Livestock Disease Research Laboratory in Surkhet, said chief of the division Dr Laxmi Narayan Tiwari. Some health workers and security persons are also among those infected.
Meanwhile, the number of people who recovered from the Corona Virus has reached 720. Likewise, six people have succumbed to the virus so far in Karnali.
