By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, May 11: Ten persons of Kapilvastu who tested positive for the virus today had entered Nepal from India.
Chief District Officer of Kapilvastu, Dirghanarayan Poudel said that 10 COVID-19 patients had sneaked into Nepal from India.
According to CDO Poudel, they had come to Nepal from Mumbai and various other places of India.
Information regarding when they had entered Nepal is yet to obtain, he added.
All 10 COVID-19 patients were residing in quarantine set up at Anirudra Higher Secondary Scchool in Yasodhara Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu.
Preparations to send the patients to Butwal-based Corona Special Hospital are underway.
Prior to this, many COVID-19 patients identified in Kapilvastu had also sneaked into Nepal from India.
Poudel said that the relation between today's COVID-19 patients and patients identified previously would be found soon.
With this, the number of COVID-19 patients in Kapilvastu has reached 15.
