Dhading, July 2 : A jeep has plunged into the Trishuli River this morning. A jeep probably heading to Kathmandu met with an accident at Mauwakhola along the Prithvi Highway and fell into the River.
According to SSP Kalidas Dhaubaji of Kurintar, a local Sunmaya Chepang had noticed the incident and reported to the police. She also spread word about the mishap to other people.
SSP Dhaubaji added that a rescue team led by him has been deputed in the possible sites and a search is on for tracking the submerged jeep.
However, the details of the jeep and the number of the passengers are yet to be ascertained.
