Kathmandu, Sept. 1: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai, has said that the Indrajatra festival has fostered mutual harmony and developed understanding and brotherhood among all Nepalis as well as helped strengthen national unity.
In a best wishes message on the occasion of Indrajatra today, Minister Bhattarai expressed the view that the Indrajatra festival, linked with nature lover Indra, would help promote country’s prosperity.
He said, “There is a responsibility to keep the culture and festivals of the country alive by adopting necessary health precautions during the present COVID-19 pandemic.”
The message reads: “I wish for happiness, peace and prosperity to all Nepalis brothers and sisters living in and outside the country on the occasion of Indrajatra festival.”
