Banepa, July 9 : A team led by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has returned to Kathmandu due to bad weather.
The team was travelling to Sindhupalchowk to take note of the damages caused by floods in the district. The team travelling on a Nepal Army helicopter returned from Dhulikhel before reaching Bahrabise due to adverse weather condition, according to the Speaker's press advisor Sridhar Neupane.
The team will leave for the site after the weather improves. It may be noted that Speaker Sapkota had undergone a surgery for cataract on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a Nepal Army team has left for the flood affected site for necessary rescue and relief efforts, according to NA Public Relations Directorate. Two people have already died while 18 have gone missing in Jambu of Bahrabise municipality due to landslides and floods triggered by heavy rainfall.
