By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 9: The Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday confirmed five COVID-19 related deaths.
Five persons, four males and a female, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, read the COVID-19 national update released by the ministry on Thursday.
A 55-year old female and two males, aged 59 and 83, of Kathmandu, a 63-year-old male of Chitwan and a 29-year-old male of Kapilvastu, who had tested positive for the virus, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 317 and the death rate stands at 0.63 per cent.
