By Netra Shahi, Jumla, July 14: The Jumla District Administration Office has clamped curfew from 3:00 PM today in Chandannath Municipality-5 after a businessman of the main market tested positive for COVID-19.
Considering the threat of COVID-19 spread in community, the curfew was imposed from Dansakhu in the east and Umagadh in the west and from Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS) in the north to Tila River in the south, informed Bhupendra Thapa, Chief District Officer (CDO) of Jumla, by issuing a notice.
Meanwhile, Dwanda Bahadur Shahi, administrative officer of KAHS, said that 15 newly identified COVID-19 patients were admitted to isolation in KAHS.
According to Shahi, a pregnant woman and two health workers deployed in Kalikot were also identified with the virus infection of late.
