Saptari, Sept 16 : A COVID-19 infected man died in the district today. The 35-year-old of Khadak municipality-3 died at Dharan-based B.P.
Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), said acting office chief at the health office Duniya Lal Yadav.
The deceased has been suffering from kidney ailment and blood pressure for the past one year, and had been undergoing dialysis at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
The deceased had been referred to the BPKIHS. With this, the death toll from the infection in the district has reached nine. A Nepali Army team would perform last rites of the deceased, said Yadav.
