Kathmandu, May 23 : Most parts of the country have partly cloudy sky due to the impact of westerly and local winds today, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
According to meteorologist Manju Basi, moderate rains could occur in most parts of the country due to weak presence of Amphan cyclone in Bangladesh and nearby regions.
She predicted the brief rains with thunderstorm in mountainous belt in the west and eastern parts this afternoon.
The Division's latest details measured the maximum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley at 28.9 degree Celsius and the minimum at 20.0 degree Celsius.
Likewise, Jumla measured minimum temperature of 13.5 degree while Nepalgunj recorded maximum temperature of 38.5 degree Celsius.
