By Nabaraj Kattel, Biratnagar, July 23: The Birat Nursing Home, located in Biratnagar, has been sealed after a gynecologist and a director of the hospital tested positive for COVID-19.
The private hospital had concealed their identity while sending the swab samples of the doctor to Koshi Hospital for COVID-19 test.
A team of Morang Police and Health Division of Biratnagar Metropolitan City had started the search operation of the infected from Wednesday.
The police had started the investigation suspecting that the hospital had concealed the identity of the infected.
On Thursday, the hospital administration revealed the identity of the COVID-19 patient.
A meeting held at District Administration Office, Morang on Thursday, decided to seal the Birat Nursing Home. Tracing of people who had come in direct contact with the infected has begun.
