Chipledhunga, June 25 : Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara, has closed all services except emergency today.
Hospital Director Arjun Acharya said that all service except emergency have been closed today for the management of the dead body after a coronavirus infected person, 55, of Adhikhola rural municipality of Syangja district, died in course of treatment at the hospital on Wednesday night. He was also suffering from diabetes and pneumonia. He was receiving treatment on a ventilator at the hospital from June 22.
Acharya added all services of the hospital would be regular from Friday once the dead body is managed today.
With confirmation of coronavirus infection on 11 individuals of four districts of Gandaki state this morning, number of total coronavirus infected people has reached 753 in the state, according to the Provincial Health Directorate.
