By Madhusudan Timilsina, Kavre, Aug. 26: A 55-year-old COVID-19 patient of Suryabinayak Municipality-8 died while receiving treatment in Dhulikhel Hospital.
“He was admitted to the Dhulikhel hospital three days ago for the treatment of heart disease. He breathed his last on Tuesday night at 11:55 pm,” said Dr. Narendra Kumar Jha, health administrator of the District Health Office, Kavre.
Jha said that his body would be cremated in the electric crematorium at Pashupati by the Nepali Army (NA).
Until now, three persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in Dhulikhel Hospital.
The COVID-19 caseload of the district has reached 163 of which, 63 have been discharged after recovering from the virus infection while 98 are receiving treatment in various health facilities.
Kavrepalanchowk has recorded two COVID-19 related deaths until now.
