By Saligram Nepal, Chitwan, Sept. 4: Chitwan confirmed 74 more cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
In the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests done in the Bharatpur Hospital and Chitwan Medical College, as many as 74 persons, 56 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, three of Ratnanagr, two of Kalika, four of Khairahani and nine of Rapti were found with the virus infection.
In the 302 swab samples put to test in the Bharatpur Hospital’s laboratory, 17 of Chitwan and one of Rautahat had tested positive while in 703 swab samples tested at Chitwan Medical College, 88 were found with the virus infection of which 57 are from Chitwan while 31 are from other districts.
