By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, Aug. 28: A 60-year old male succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in Butwal on Friday morning.
“He was a resident of Tilottama Municipality-4. He died while receiving treatment at COVID-19 Special Hospital, Butwal,” said Dr. Bishnu Gautam, information officer of the hospital.
He was suffering from high blood pressure and was receiving treatment in ventilator.
After testing positive for COVID-19, he was admitted to the hospital on August 23.
