By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: The government is set to expand 4G telecom service and internet service through the 'Fiber-to-home' programme nationwide by the upcoming year.
Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada while presenting the annual budget for FY 2020/21 in the joint session of the Federal Parliament said, "Telecommunication village would be set up in all States and efforts would be put to take Nepal Television on international level."
The journalists' insurance scheme would be continued, he added.
Dr Khatiwada said that advertisements related to public welfare would also be provided to online news portals.
The government has also allocated budget for Film Development Board to construct a building in each State to shoot movies.
