By Tara Chapagain Dube, Pokhara, Sept. 1: The Gandaki State on Tuesday confirmed 39 cases of COVID-19.
The Gandaki State Health Directorate informed that 39 cases of novel coronavirus were detected in the State, of which 26 were found in Besisahar, Lamjung alone.
The infected include a 14-day-old infant, bank officials, Nepal Police and journalists.
Likewise, 10 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Nawalparasi (East) and one was recorded in Baglung.
A 45-year-old tourism entrepreneur of Pokhara Metropolitan City (PMC)-6 and a 24-year-old female of PMC- 13 have also tested positive in Pokhara.
With this, the COVID-19 tally of Gandaki State has reached 2,205.
