By Dipak Prasad Gautam, Birgunj, Aug. 31: Additional 32 persons have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in Parsa district.
With this, total number of COVID-19 cases in Parsa has reached 2,192.
Dr. Atulesh Chaurasiya, spokesperson and information officer of the Narayani Hospital, informed that the 32 new cases of infection in Parsa were found in the report received Sunday evening of the PCR test carried out at the laboratory of the Narayani Hospital.
Of the 436 swab samples put for test, 38 were found with virus infection, and they include 32 from Parasa, 4 from Bara, a person from Sarlahi and a person without address, according to Dr. Chaurasiya.
