By Nabaraj Kattel, Biratnagar, July 26: As many as 31 persons including 19 police officials tested positive for COVID-19 in State 1 on Sunday.
Dipak Pokharel, spokesperson of State 1 Police Office, said that the newly infected COVID-19 patients were admitted to PU COVID-19 Isolation Hospital, Gothgaun, for further treatment.
The Health Division under State Ministry for Social Development informed that 22 people of Morang and nine of Ilam were found with the virus infection on Sunday.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in State 1 has reached 922.
Meanwhile, 12 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in various health facilities were discharged in the last 24 hours in State 1. Until now, 747 persons have recovered from the virus infection.
