By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Aug. 13: As many as 30 COVID-19 patients were discharged on Thursday after recovering from the virus infection in Banke.
Naresh Shrestha, COVID-19 focal person of Banke Health Office said that an officer of the Inland Revenue Office and his relatives, the family of the sweet seller at Tribhuwan Chowk and officials of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis were discharged on Thursday after recovering from the virus.
As many as 18 persons from Nepalgunj, one person each from Kohalpur, Rapti Sonari, Dang, Bardiya, Dailekh and Parsa and two each from Surkhet and Kanchanpur have been discharged, added Shrestha.
Currently, there are 225 active cases of virus infection in Banke.
With this, the COVID-19 caseload of Banke district stands at 667 with 435 cases of recovery and three death cases.
