By Narendra Dhakal, Gorkha, July 8: As many as 21 COVID-19 patients were discharged after recovering from the virus infection in Gorkha district today.
21 COVID-19 patients from six local levels of Gorkha, receiving treatment in isolation centers set up at Gorkha Campus, were discharged today, informed Rajuraman Neupane, information officer of District Health Office.
11 persons from Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality, three each from Palungtar Municipality and Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality, two from Gorkha Municipality and one each from Ajirkot and Barpak Sukikot Municipalities were discharged after testing negative for COVID-19 in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
Of the recovered patients, two are females and 19 are males.
With this, 52 out of 95 COVID-19 patients of Gorkha have recovered from the virus infection.
