By Abhinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Aug. 7: As many as 17 persons including nine females were found with the virus infection in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test done at Seti Provincial Hospital, Kailali.
In 449 PCR tests done in the last 24 hours, 17 people tested COVID-19 positive. Of the infected, most are from Kailali Districts.
According to Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of Seti Provincial Hospital, 12 persons from Tikapur Municipality, three from Godawari Municipality-11 and one each from Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City-12 and Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Kanchanpur were detected with the virus infection.
