By Bhawani Aire, Godawari, June 14: As many as 1,513 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus infection in Sudurpaschim State.
Narendra Karki, Chief of the Department of Health Services under State Ministry of Social Development, said that 96 COVID-19 patients were discharged on Monday itself.
Of the patients discharged on Monday, 17 were from Kailali, 53 from Bajhang and 96 were from Achham. The total cases of recovery in the State has reached 1,513, said Karki.
According to him, 375 from Kanchanpur, 267 from Daduldhura, 252 from Baitadi, 118 from Kailai, 87 from Bajhang, 13 from Darchula and 2 in Bajura and 157 in Doti were discharged from the hospital until now.
Meanwhile, Ministry Health and Population has reported that of the total 3,936 COVID-19 infected people, only 61 were receiving treatment in isolation. While 2, 400 patients are in home isolations and in different quarantine centers set-up in local levels.
The health condition of all COVID-19 patients is normal.
The State has recorded two COVID-19 deaths until now.
