110 persons recover from COVID-19 in Karnali
By Lalit Basel, Surkhet, Sept. 13: As many as 110 persons have returned home after recovery from the COVID-19 in Karnali State.
With this, the number of people recovered from COVID-19 in the State stands at 2,505.
According to the Health Services Division under the Ministry of Social Development of the State, the recovered 110 persons include 28 persons from the State hospital, 17 from Birendranagar home isolation, 36 from Chandannath isolation in Jumla, eight from Gurbhakot isolation in Surkhet, eight from Chandadnath home isolation.
Meanwhile, 10 people tested positive for the virus in Karnali on Sunday. Of them, five are from Surkhet, two are from Jumla, one each from Dailekh, Siraha and Rukum west.
With this, total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has reached at 2,786. The five COVID-19 cases of Sunday are from Birendranagar Municipality.
Meanwhile, Humla, Dolpa and Mugu districts are free from COVID-19 cases while six people have lost their life to coronavirus so far in the State.
