Kathmandu, July 4 : A total of 11 international chartered flights are taking place from and to the Tribhuvan International Airport today. Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines are bringing in Nepalis stranded in different parts of the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NAC will bring Nepalis from Riyadh and Dammam of Saudi Arabia. NAC aircrafts will also fly to Doha and Kuala Lampur today.
Meanwhile, a Himalaya Airlines aircraft has already landed with Nepalis from Kuwait. It will fly to Doha and Abu Dhabi, Qatar tonight.
Other international airlines companies including Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airway and Jazeera Airways will also bring Nepalis to Kathmandu today.
On Friday, 918 Nepalis arrived in 11 international chartered flights, according to the TIA office.
