Kathmandu, Mar. 31: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has said that the Nepal visit of the Chinese State Councilor and Minister for Foreign Affairs Wang Yi was successful and it added new dimension to the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaking at a press conference organised on Tuesday at the ministry, its spokesperson Sewa Lamsal said that after the visit of Chinese FM Wang, there would be some positive development at the opening of the borders with China, creating environment for the return of Nepali students to China and enhancing the exports of Nepali goods.
She also said that the MoFA is finalising the itinerary of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's visit to India. However, she declined to disclose the agenda of the visit and members of the delegation.
Lamsal said that the ministry is preparing a computer app to facilitate people in obtaining the services from its agencies like the Department of Passport and Consular Service Department.
"People can apply online for any services and get the updates about the whereabouts of their documents and applications. The app will have the facility to make complaint as well,"
she said.
