Kathmandu, Mar. 3: Uptown Music Festival has been scheduled to be held for the first time in Nepal on March 4 in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.
The festival will be featuring musical performances by Deepak Bajracharya, Sabin Rai and The Pharaoh, Nabin K. Bhattarai and Atripta, Kali Prasad Baskota, Arko Mukherjee Collective and Robin and the New Revolution.
According to the organisers, about 26 artistes from three different countries are participating in the festival.
Similarly, Hari Maharjan Project (HMP), Bijen, Balen, The Bridge, The Elements, Kanta Dub Dub and Rachna Dahal will also be performing in the music festival.
The Riddim Songs, LSD, Tri Tone, The Soul Nepal, Concrete Jungle, The High G’S and B Flat and Audio Squad will also give their presentations.
Other artistes including Aaron, Denzong, Monika, Recess and Manik are also performing in the festival.
Singer Deepak Bajracharya will inaugurate the festival and audiences will be allowed to enter for free, the organisers informed.
