Kathmandu, Feb. 28: President Bidya Devi Bhandari Sunday appointed Prof. Sridhar Khatri as Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States of America (USA).
According to a press statement issued by the Office of President this afternoon, Prof. Khatri was appointed as the envoy to the USA under the Article 282 of the Constitution of Nepal upon the recommendation of the Cabinet meeting.
A Cabinet meeting held on October 28 had recommended his name as envoy to the USA.
