By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 11: The constitutional bench of the Supreme Court has refused to issue interim order against Deputy Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam restricting him to attend responsibilities as the National Assembly (NA) member.
The full bench including Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR, the constitutional bench refused to issue interim order against Gautam, said Bhadrakali Pokharel, spokesperson at the SC.
"The interim order demanded in the petition will not be issued. Now, the final hearing will decide the fate of the case," said Pokharel.
For now, Gautam's appointment as the NA member remains unchanged and he can now also be appointed as a minister.
