Kathmandu, Feb. 8: Singer, songwriter and musician Basanta Lamsal, who has been living in Colorado, the United States, has released a music video “Jyaanai Phalnu Pahile” on the theme of suicide.
Actor Rajesh Hamal, actress Rima Bishwakarma and child artiste Sriwani Thapa are featured in the music video.
The video shows actor Hamal in a very tense situation.
In the video, the superstar of Nepali silver screen is blacklisted for taking a loan from a cooperative and tries to commit suicide due to the same pain.
“It’s easy to die, it’s hard to live, this world is not for cowards, it’s for those who have the courage to live, to fight and to survive,” it is the message conveyed by the song.
The song features vocals by Hari Lamsal and music by Kiran Kadel.
The video was shot by Buddha Thapa and edited by Bikash Dhamala. The video has been prepared under the direction of Nikesh Khadka.
Earlier, lyricist and composer Basanta Lamsal had released many songs, including “Yaslai Parda Usle Herthyo” and “Timi Mero Euta”.
