Kathmandu, May 8: Nepal Chapter of Society for Conservation Biology (SCB Nepal) is organising a photo conference on June 05, 2021 on the occasion of the World Environment Day.
The main aim of the conference is to provide an avenue to share photos about biodiversity and its conservation in Nepal.
According to a press statement issued by SCB Nepal, photos are effective means of communications as they capture attention, evoke emotions, and easily convey large amounts of information in a relatively short amount of time.
This virtual photo conference is open to everyone and there is no participation fee.
The submitted photos will be featured in the website with their short description and best photos will get attractive cash prizes.
The SCB Nepal has also invited everyone to participate in the conference by submitting photos at photoconference.conbio@gmail.com with short description. The deadline of submission is May 15, 2021.
