By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 22: NEPSE Index bounced back by 15.80 points on Thursday after hitting rock button the previous two days. The index finally shot up to 2648.01 at its closing. It is the hike of 0.60 per cent from base point of the day.
Total number of shares traded on Thursday was 13,032,823, making a turnover of Rs. 5.91 billion. With this total market capitalization crossed Rs. 3666. 69 billion
NEPSE Index had dipped to 2632.21 on Wednesday with mild recovery and had shown red signal day before.
Bishal Bazar Company, Sindhu Bikash Bank, Mahila Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha, Green Development Bank, Jyoti Life Insurance stayed as the top gainer of the day.
Similarly, Nepal Credit and Commercial Bank, Nepal Infrastructure Bank, NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company and Nabil Bank got the highest turnover.
