Kathmandu, Feb. 15: The Nepali Congress is demonstrating against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HOR) across the country on Monday.
NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba in a statement on Sunday said that the party would launch protests against the dissolution of the House by the KP Oli-led Nepal Communist Party’s government across the country.
The NC district committees will organise the protest in all 77 districts. Deuba urged the party leaders and cadres to participate in the protest.
Earlier, the NC protested against the dissolution on December 28 last year, on January 9, 16, and 21, terming it an ‘undemocratic and unconstitutional’ move.
Deuba called on the party cadres to make the protest of Monday a success by participating from each home.
He said the NC was in the protest with one vocie against the dissolution which contradicted the Constitution and people’s sentiment.
Likewise, NC chief Deuba is scheduled to participate in the rally of Butwal on Monday while senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel will be addressing the rally in Dhading.
