By Mukunda Gaire, Kathmandu, Feb. 24: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to respect the Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate the parliament.
Foreign Minister and spokesperson of NCP Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said that the meeting of the Standing Committee held on Wednesday at Baluwatar had decided to welcome and implement the top court’s verdict.
He informed that discussions had taken place in the meeting to call the Central Committee meeting and meeting of the parliamentary party to hold talks about the ongoing issue.
The NCP has also decided to give continuity to various programmes of the government and party. “However, the modality of the programmes will change in the upcoming days,” he added.
