Kathmandu, Sept. 18: A collection of Nepali lyrical poem Pattharko Mutu written by Chintamani Siwakoti and a music video of one of the songs Himal was released on Friday.
The music video Himal Bata Hiun Pagli of the song and the book consisting of 52 songs were released amid a programme in Kathmandu. Lyricist Siwakoti is the former Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). Concept, direction and acting of the music video of the patriotic song Himal are by filmmaker Akash Adhikari.
Actress Nita Dhungana has accompanied Adhikari in the video. Actor Shiva Shrestha, singer Komal Oli, writer SP Koirala and actor Dhiren Shakya have appeared as guests in the video.
Speaking at the programme, Adhikari said that the music video carries the spirit of mountain, hills and the Terai.
Promod Kharel and Melina Rai have given their voice to the song. Suresh Adhikari has directed the music of the song.
