Banepa, Feb. 4: In line with the government's goal of 'One local level, one industrial village', four local level industrial villages in Kavrepalanchowk are progressing fast while some have been delayed.
The work of industrial village establishment has been started in three local levels of the district with the support of the federal government and at one local level with the help of the provincial government.
The construction of an industrial village has been started in Roshi Rural Municipality, Dhulikhel Municipality and Panchkhal Municipality of the district with the support of the federal government and in Mandandeupur Municipality of the district with the support of Bagmati Province government.

Of the village under construction with the help of the federal government, the construction of a boundary wall and administrative building has been completed in the allocated 64 ropanis of land for the village to be constructed in Roshi Rural Municipality-11 Kaldhunga so far.
Chairman of Roshi Rural Municipality Dal Bahadur Lama said that the construction work of the administrative building required for the industrial village has been completed.
He said that the contractor company is scheduled to hand over the recently completed building to the rural municipality on Friday.

He said that around Rs. 16 million has been spent for the construction of land boundary wall and building so far.
He said that the work would be taken forward by forming a committee for industrial village operation and setting up various industries providing employment at the local level after holding discussions with the stakeholders.
Similarly, with the assistance of the province government, out of 200 ropanis of land in Mandandeupur Municipality-6, Garichaur for the establishment of the industrial village, around 70 ropanis of land has been covered with fence wiring and the security house built.


According to the Cottage and Small Industries Office, Kavre, the work was completed at a cost of Rs. 7,700,000 out of the budget allocated by the province government in the fiscal year 2020/21.
Officer of Cottage and Small Industry Office, Kavre, Ram Prasad Kusma said that the province government has allocated around Rs. 5 million for the construction of villages in the current fiscal year through the industry directorate.

He said that the office has requested the province government to spend the amount through the office and include the village construction work in the multi-year plan.
Similarly, access road is being constructed for the industrial village to be constructed in Dhulikhel Municipality-10 with the support of the federal government.
Sub-engineer of Dhulikhel Municipality Harichandra Lamichhane said that the construction of access road to the industrial village, demarcation of land and geographical survey are being carried out.
The construction of green women's industrial village to be constructed in Sanopiple of Panchkhal Municipality-7 has so far completed the construction of blacktopped access road to the industrial village and drinking water tank required for the village.


Municipal engineer Kapil Dev Bhatta said that a draft estimate of Rs. 210 million has been prepared for the construction of the industrial village.
He said that only the draft of the detailed project report (DPR) of the village has come and the work of environmental impact assessment for the establishment of the village has also been started.
He said that the construction work of the industrial village would move ahead after the budget allocation from the government.
