Los Angeles, Aug : 6 Actress Joey King might co-star with Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt in the upcoming action thriller, Bullet Train.
Joey, who recently starred in the OTT hit, "The Kissing Booth 2", is in negotiations to sign the thriller, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The film is directed by David Leitch and based on the popular Japanese book "Maria Beetle" by Kotaro Isaka. "Bullet Train" is about a group of hitmen and assassins with conflicting motives on a train in Tokyo.
The project is being tonally described as "Speed", the Keanu Reeves-starrer set on a bus, meets "Non-Stop", the Liam Neeson thriller set on a plane.
According to sources, Pitt will play an American hitman named Ladybug and King will play an unassuming teenaged assassin named Prince.
The makers hope to shoot "Bullet Train" later this year. The film is a contained thriller, which means it can be shot on a contained set and can easily follow health restrictions in the Covid-19 era.
