Price rise pleases Sarlahi tomato farmers

Farmers of Sarlahi have felt a sigh of relief after the price of tomatoes increased in the local market. Farmers have said that the price of tomatoes has increased to Rs. 18 per kg for the past three days, and they are encouraged to bring the ripe tomatoes to the market and sell them. Earlier, they were selling the tomatoes at Rs. 10 to Rs. 12 per kg in the wholesale market.

A model road of international standard to be constructed in Pokhara

Pokhara Metropolitan City is going to construct the model road with the assistance of the World Bank. The member of City Planning Commission Pokhara, Baburam Bhandari informed that 3.28 KM road stretch from Tal Chowk of Pokhara Metropolitan City -27 to the origin of Khudi River will be upgraded as per the World Bank guidelines at a cost of 1.6 billion rupees.
