Inter-Province MoU signed for tourism promotion 

The Gandaki Province and Province 2 have signed the inter-province Memorandum of Understanding for promoting tourism. As per the MoU, the identification of touristic destinations, their promotion and dissemination, continuity of direct flights between the provinces and extension of the Janakpur-Pokhara air service are to be focused on in the days to come.

NRB issuing Rs 30 billion repo 

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is issuing a repurchase agreement (repo) worth Rs 30 billion. The central bank is today issuing the repo for seven days after shortage of investment capital is seen in the banks and financial system.

Credit flow of commercial banks soars

According to a report " Deposit and Lending 2078/79" published by the Nepal Bankers Association, the credit flow grew by Rs. 166 billion during these two months. The report showed that the amounts of credit flow crossed Rs. 3872 on 16 September up from Rs. 3706 billion on July 23.

Shop sales fall for fourth month as more dine out
