Rajapur, May 3 : The projects that had halted due to the lockdown have resumed operation. The work on the projects was resumed after government granted permission to resume work on national priority projects by adopting the necessary health protocol.
Accordingly the District Administration Office, Bardia has given permission to resume the projects by following the Standard Operating Procedure set by the government. As per the decision, work on the Babai Irrigation Project, Karnali River Management Project, Rummapur-Gulariya-Rajhana road, Bhada bridge construction and the road linking Madhuba to Barbardia municipality have resumed, according to Chief District Officer Prem Lal Lamichhane.
Of the 38 projects that were awarded contract in the district, 15 have got permission to resume work. The construction companies will hence make arrangement for food and accommodation in the field site itself, along with medical examination facility, construct entrepreneur Ram Babu Subedi said.
