Kathmandu, Dec. 5: The residents of Waling Municipality in Syangja can now pay all the service charges and government revenue from their phones by downloading the Khalti Digital Wallet app.
The residents of the municipality have to pay various revenue and services, including property and service charges.
The fee can be paid by logging into the government service menu on the Khalti mobile app or Khalti’s webpage - Khalti.com and tapping Walling Municipality.
Often crowded, the municipality has hoped that this service will make people capable to pay from their phone on Khalti Digital Wallet app.
The founder and director of Khalti Amit Agrawal believed that this agreement has taken Khalti one step closer to its goal for digital Nepal.
Khalti is Nepal’s mobile payment solution that aims at making payment and banking transactions easy for the people without wasting time and standing in queue.
